McColl’s Brewery has just been awarded a prestigious 2-star Great Taste award for their Mellow Session IPA 🌟🌟
The Great Taste Awards, run by the Guild of Fine Food, are the ultimate food and drink accolades. This year, 13,672 products from around the world were blind-tasted by a panel of experts. Only 1,386 products managed to impress enough to earn a 2-star rating, making Mellow Session IPA part of an elite group deemed “above and beyond delicious.”
Mellow Session IPA
Described by the judges as “hop-forward with some truly punchy tropical flavours”, Mellow Session IPA is brewed with the finest Golden Promise malt and Citra hops. It’s an easy-drinking IPA that’s perfect for any occasion, whether you’re relaxing at home or out with friends.
A Word from Danny
Danny McColl, the man behind McColl’s Brewery, couldn’t be happier about the win. He says, “We are thrilled to have won a Great Taste award for our Mellow Session IPA. This award means a lot to us, and we are so proud to be adding the prestigious black and gold Great Taste badge of honour to our IPA.”
Danny adds, “Being recognised with a Great Taste 2-star means so much to independent producers like us. It makes all the hard work and determination worth it! Great Taste is the most recognised accolade for taste and quality in the food and drink industry, so it’s a huge moment for us!”
