Yes, you may have noticed this event is on the same night as the one above. Yes, you can make it along to both – just have a taxi on standby or a very understanding designated driver. So what’s the deal with this event? Well, The Town Wall has a load of new guest keg lines, so they thought they’d celebrate by getting a trio of local brewers along to take over the place. The trio is Almasty Brewing Co., Errant Brewery & Northern Alchemy (call it the Geordie trinity, if you like). Expect two cask and two keg from each of ’em, and fire as many beery questions at their teams as you can.

Can it be that 12 whole months have passed since Newcastle Tap took up residence next door to The Head of Steam? It can, and to celebrate they have a whole weekend of beeriness (it’s a word now, ok?), including three specially brewed local beers with McColl’s, Three Brothers, and Allendale. Did someone say it’s a battle of the beers? FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!
