There are a lot of businesses here in the UK showing their support to Ukraine by brewing beers, or fundraising in other ways. Here’s our list of what’s happening in the North East and beyond if you’re looking to get involved.

North East
Northumberland Breweries
A group of Northumberland breweries has teamed up to brew the Drinkers for Ukraine’s Ukrainian Anti-Imperial Stout. The beer was brewed at The First and Last Brewery, with help from Allendale Brewery, Alnwick Brewery, Brewis Beer Co., Cheviot Brewery, High House Farm Brewery, Muckle Brewing, Northumbrian Pantry, Rigg and Furrow, Bird in Bush, and Twice Brewed Brewing Co.

Full Circle Brew Co.
Full Circle has collaborated with Varvar Brew from Ukraine to brew a Ukrainian Golden Ale. Funds raised are being donated to the Red Cross appeal alongside the #DrinkersforUkraine campaign.

Hops & Dots Brew Co.
Hops & Dots Brew Co. has brewed a 10.5% Democratically Elected Ukrainian Stout. £1 from every can and money from every keg sold is being donated to help the people of Ukraine, via the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Newcastle Stands With Ukraine
Newcastle Stands With Ukraine is a direct action initiative established by Cllr. Nicu Ion and supported by Cllr. Nick Kemp to deliver aid directly to communities that are not being reached by mainstream aid organisations. Donations made by Wylam Brewery from sales on their web store have contributed to the fundraising efforts.
UK-wide
Euroboozer
Hertfordshire-based beer importer Euroboozer has rescued around 45,000 pints of beer from Kyiv-based craft brewer Varvar Brew in a show of support to raise money for the people of Ukraine. Read more about their efforts and stockists of the beers here.
Drinkers for Ukraine
The #DrinkersForUkraine campaign is an initiative of enthusiasts and professionals in the beer industry including Lana Svitankova, the team at Ferment magazine, and Eoghan Walsh. They’ve created a Solidarity Brew recipe so that breweries can brew their version of RESIST, a Ukrainian Anti-Imperial Stout. There are also guidance notes if you’d like to run an online auction to help raise funds.
