Freetime Beer Co Tap Takeover
Thursday 18th April | The Box Social
The Box Social is playing host to Freetime Beer Co. from Wales, for a tap takeover this Easter. Having recently changed their name from West By Three Brewing (because of a trademark dispute), they’ve returned with a new name, logo, and some brand new beers.

Meet The Brewer with Six Degrees North
Thursday 18th April | The Cycle Hub + The Free Trade Inn
The Cycle Hub in the Ouseburn is the host venue on Thursday 18th April for a special tasting night with Six°North‘s owner and brewer, Robert Lindsay. The beer tasting includes seven of the rarer 6°N beers, handpicked by Robert for the event.
Up the road at The Free Trade Inn, there’ll also be a load of 6°N beers in cask and keg to try if you can’t make it along to the other event.

Anarchy Brew Co. Tap Takeover
Thursday 18th – Monday 22nd April | The Gosforth Hotel
The Gosforth Hotel has Anarchy Brew Co. taking over its taps this Easter, with cask and keg lines dedicated to the Newcastle brewery, including their latest releases, Cell Phone Zombies (West Coast IPA), Dystopia (Coconut Porter), and Skin Deep (a pale ale, brewed in collaboration with Brick Club Tattoo in Morpeth).

Northern Alchemy Tap Takeover
Friday 19th – Sunday 21st April | The Cluny
Head down to The Cluny this Easter to check out another great #drinklocal tap takeover – this time from Northern Alchemy. With six cask lines, four keg lines, and some brand new and exclusive beers, this is definitely worth paying a visit to!

Battle Of The Burger
Friday 19th – Saturday 20th April | Wylam Brewery
Up at Wylam Brewery this weekend, there’s a battle brewing. Fear not, it’s food-related, and our kind of war! Battle Of The Burger – Royale With Cheese sees ten different food vendors fight it out to be crowned victorious at the end of the weekend. And as it’s at Wylam, there’s sure to be the perfect beer to complement every burger on sale, too!

Saturday 20th April | Anarchy Brew Co.
Looking for a taproom event that’s got more than just beer? Anarchy Brew Co. has it covered this Easter Saturday, with free live blues music in the bar from The King Bees, support from John Wilkins, food specials from resident BBQ pop-up Rib & Rub, and they’ll be pouring their latest beer, Cell Phone Zombies (West Coast IPA).

Easter Market
Saturday 20th April | The Tyne Bar
The Tyne Bar is hosting its first ever Easter Market, featuring a whole host of unique locally-made gifts, plus live music, street food, and of course, beer!
Food and drink includes The Swordmaker cocktail bar, Grillas (grilled cheese), Abaissé Chocolatier, Flavour Before Fire (sauces & pickles), plus The Tyne Bar’s Bar-BBQ / pizza / burrito bar.
