Leith’s Moonwake Beer Co. and Full Circle Brew Co. have joined forces once again to create a new beer. Following their successful previous collaboration, the breweries now present their latest beer release: a captivating West Coast IPA. This limited-edition IPA is set to please fans of all things piney, starting with an exclusive release at Moonwake’s Taproom this weekend, and making its way across the UK later this month.
Embracing the Classic West Coast Style
Since its inception back in 2021, Moonwake has been eager to check off a timeless classic from their wishlist: a proper West Coast IPA. Now, in partnership with Full Circle, they’ve brought this dream to life.
With a blend of hops including Chinook, Columbus, and Cascade, expect a symphony of resin, pine, and subtle grapefruit notes. Complementing this, the addition of Strata and Amarillo hops imparts aromas of orange, passion fruit, and a touch of dankness. This carefully curated combination results in a remarkable balance, where a full copper body meets an irresistible hop bite.
A Reciprocal Collaboration
This isn’t the first time Moonwake Beer Co. and Full Circle Brew Co. have embarked on a collaborative brewing adventure. In their previous partnership, Moonwake journeyed down to Newcastle, where they brewed a West Coast Pilsner together.
West Coast IPA is available across the UK from Tuesday 11th July.
