The First and Last Brewery, in Elsdon, has created the Northumberland Breweries Beer Box, showcasing some of the region’s best craft beers, to help support the local micro-brewery community right now.
Sam Kellie, Co-Owner of First & Last Brewery, alongside brewster, Red, said “We wanted to make the box to raise the profile of Northumberland brewers.
“We have always been community focused, producing beers that give back, including the Ratty pale ale, which is in collaboration with Northumberland Wildlife Trust. The brewery industry is really tight knit, we all share the same passions and philosophies as small Northumberland independent businesses, so we wanted to pull together to support craft beer. We also wanted to help other breweries, who don’t necessarily have a route to market. We were lucky as we already had a webshop”, he added.
